SADANGA, Mountain Province September 27 – A 62-year old farmer died after he allegedly hanged himself inside their old house at sitio Fangeg, Poblacion, here, Tuesday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Mas-e Chopchopen Tecag, 62, senior citizen, and a resident of Poblacion, Sadanga Mountain Province.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim, his wife and other companions arrived from tending their farm and decided to have a drinking session.
After the drinking session, the victim and his wife decided to go home where he allegedly asked her daughter while she was scolding her child while his wife decided to cook their dinner.
When his wife finished cooking their food, she allegedly called the victim for them to eat but he failed to answer her call, thus, she decided to go to the house of their neighbour.
After a few moments, she was informed by their neighbour that something went wrong to his husband that prompted her to immediately go to their house to see what happened but her husband was not inside their room where he earlier rested.
When she went to their old house, she was surprised to see her husband hanging on the ceiling that prompted her to seek the assistance of neighbors to bring his body down.
Robbers ruled that there was no foul incident in the said incident that caused the untimely demise of the victim.
