BAGUIO CITY – A 47-year old farmer was injured after he was repeteadly stabbed by a still unidentified knife-wielding individual in the terrace of his uncle’s residence at Crystal Cave, Bakakeng Central, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Freddie Pacsi Baladcus, 47, single, farmer, native of Banaaw, Tadian, Mountain Province and a resident of Begis, Tuba, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim went to his uncle’s residence to pay a visit but while on his way to the area where his uncle was, he passed by a couple quarrelling on the stairs leading to his uncle’s place, thus, he politely asked for permission to pass by.
Unknown to him, he was followed by the obviously irked suspect and upon reaching the terrace of the residence, he was repeatedly stabbed on the different parts of his body that caused him to be sprawled on the area.
He was immediately rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for medical treatment and he was ordered to be confined while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by the responding police operatives.
