BUCAY, Abra – A 53-year old farmer was injured after he was stabbed by a construction worker while they were on their way home at sitio Cabaroan, Dugong, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Rodelino Pisco Adame, 53, married, farmer while the suspect was named as Allan Arcangel Macaraeg, 31, single, construction worker both residents of sitio Cabaroan, Dugong, Bucay, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the duo had a drinking session in a store and while on their way home, the victim slapped the suspect’s head despite the altter’s warning to stop doing the same to him.
The victim kept slapping the suspect’s head until the latter got irked and stabed him twice, one on his lower chiest and forearm, that caused him to be sprawled bloodied on the pavement.
He was rushed to the Seares Memorial Hospital in nearby Bnauged for medical treatment while the suspect was subsequenty arrested by responding police operatives for him to answer the crime he had done.
