BOKOD, Benguet – A 43-year old farmer was injured after he was tabbed by an unemployed drinking partner inside the residence of their common friend at Bangao, Ambuclao, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Marcial Bilsad Bugtong, 43, single, farmer and a resident of Kawal, Bobok, Benguet, while he named the suspect as Gregorio Topi Paganos, 54, single, unemployed and a resident of Gurel, Poblacion, Bokod, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect had a drinking session inside the residence of a common friend in the place of incident when a misunderstanding suddenly ensued between them that resulted to the stabbing incident.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned residents to the Dennis Molintas Memorial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was immediately arrested by responding police operatives during a followup operation.
