BANGUED, Abra – A 58-year old fisherman died after he was shot to death by his own son inside their residence at Calaba, here, recently.
Superintendent Mark Pespes, officer-in-charge of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the fatality as Reynaldo Almazan Bayle, 58, married, fisherman while he named the suspect as Reynante Molina Bayle, 27, single, fisherman and both residents of Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim arrived in their place and allegedly started chasing his sons and daughters.
The suspect was able to enter their house and grab a firearm which he used toshoot his father several times hitting him on the different parts of his body.
The victim was rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians due to multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body while the suspect was arrested by responding police operatives awaiting the filing of appropriate charges against him.
