City officials recently requested the City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO) to submit and present to the local legislative body the final development plans for the Ibaloi HERITAGE Garden and the Igorot Garden, both within Burnham Park.
Under Resolution No. 5333, series of 2024, local legislators stated that there is a need for the concerned offices to present to the body the final development plans of both the Ibaloi Heritage Garden and the Igorot Garden for its information and the enactment of appropriate legislative measures.
Earlier, the council considered the manifestations of invited resource persons relative to the status of the proposed development of the Ibaloi Heritage Garden and the Igorot Garden.
Both the said multi-million projects were already bidded out by the local government’s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and that the declared compliant contractors are set to be issued their respective notices to proceed in the implementation of the funded projects.
Senator Robinhood Padilla earmarked some P78 million for the proposed development of the Ibaloi heritage Garden which was already bidded out by the city and awaiting the possible issuance of the notice to proceed once the declared winning contractor will complete the documentary requirements pursuant to established laws, rules and regulations governing the conduct of public bidding for the city’s infrastructure projects.
