FLORA, Apayao – The Municipality of Flora is set to celebrate its 61st Founding Anniversary, coinciding with the Kabinnulig Festival.
Under the theme “Nurturing Unity and Harmony amidst Cultural Diversity,” Floranians will commemorate this milestone by honoring their traditions while embracing progress.
The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Flora has organized various activities to involve citizens, encourage togetherness, and showcase the town’s achievements through inclusive governance.
The festivities will commence on June 18, 2024, with an opening program, cultural contest, bloodletting event, float and carabao contest, and a ballroom competition for cluster barangays.
On June 19, the celebrations will feature the first-ever chess competition, a job fair, and the search for Little Mr. and Ms. Flora 2024.
The final day, June 20, will include a cookout, followed by the Search for Taer Ti Flora 2024 and Libnos Ti Flora 2024.
The Municipality of Flora invites everyone to the celebration, promising great food, cultural performances, and a strong sense of community.
