BAGUIO CITY – Flora Mayor Rodolfo B. Juan and Santa Marcela Mayor Evelyn Martinez participated in the Island-Wide eLGU (Electronic Local Government Unit System) Caravan at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center on June 5, 2024.
Organized by the Department of Interior and Local Government–Cordillera (DILG–CAR) in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), said event aimed at enhancing understanding and promoting the significance of automation among all towns and municipalities.
This program is part of the government’s efforts to comply with the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Law, underlining the need for streamlined processes and digital solutions to enhance service delivery efficiency.

The eLGU is a vital component of the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) eGov PH Super App. This mobile application integrates various government services, including business permit licensing, community tax, and local civil registry into a unified platform for convenient access.
The collaboration between the Anti-Red Tape Authority, DILG, and DICT highlights the effort to implement the eLGU system across all cities and municipalities through full caravan initiatives. By Michelle Acantilado
