BAGUIO CITY – The lifeless body of a supervisor of a local food corporation was found lying facedown by his boardmate inside their rented room at No. 106 Lower Rock Quarry here around 12 noon Saturday.
Senior Superintendent Rolando F. Miranda, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the alleged suicide victim as Serwin Basco Borbe, of legal age, single, food supervisor of Mekini’s Food Corporation and currently residing at Lower Rock Quarry, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed his boardmate Kevin Brondo Duardo, 20, single, service of McDonald’s, saw Borbe’s lifeless body lying facedown on his bed that prompted them to seek police assistance.
Probers disclosed the victim is reportedly suffering from tuberculosis and initial findings by elements of the scene of the crime operation (SOCO) team found out that the victim died due to his pressing illness.
The victim’s remains was brought to a local funeral parlor awaiting the arrival of his relatives to give the authority for the conduct of the appropriate autopsy on his cadaver.
