BAGUIO City – The Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA), Cordillera Chapter, together with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the King’s College of the Philippines will conduct a bloodletting program on August 23, 2016 from 9 o’clock in the morning to 3 o’clock in the afternoon at the Auditorium, Baguio City Hall.
The activity is the groups’ way to support the Department of Health’s “Save Life Donate Blood” program. It is conducted in consonance with the GACPA’s social responsibility function as well as in celebration of the 22nd anniversary of TESDA.
Constancia O. Molintas, GACPA, Cordillera Chapter President, said “(GACPA) has invited government agencies to send donors in this activity. As a partner, TESDA will invite private schools to send donors as well as provide snacks. King’ college will, likewise be sending donors too.” As the provider of technical assistance, the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center will be the beneficiary of the blood to be collected, she further continued.
The blood-letting drive is among the various activities if GACPA this year. It earlier conducted a seminar on updates and current issues and lectures about the work place last July 26 and 27, 2016 at Teachers Camp.
