BANGED, Abra October 28 – A 29-year old gasoline boy was injured after he was repeatedly stabbed by his cousin in front of the residence of their neighbour at Lipcan, here, Thursday night.
Police authorities identified the victim as Jerome Borreta Bocarile, 29, married, gasoline boy and a resident of Barangay Lipcan, Bangued, Abra while the suspect was named as Ronnie Castillo Bocarile, legal age, married, laborer.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect were having a drinking session in front of the residence of their neighbour when a heated altercation suddenly erupted between them.
At the height of the altercation, the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim thrice on the different parts of his body causing him to be sprawled bloodied on the ground.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by responding police operatives and now detained in the Bangued Municipal Police Station awaiting the charges to be filed against him.
