BAGUIO CITY – A 36-year old gay was hurt after he was manhandled by a fellow gay during a heated altercation at Ledesma St., East Modernsite, here Monday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Enrique “Kaye” Balando Lipata, 36, single, gay, hairdresser, native of Tanza, Cavite and tenant of No. 1. Ledesma St., East Modernsite, Baguio City, while he named the suspect as Junie Venezuela, of legal age, single, gay and tenant at Imelda Village, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect had a misunderstanding because of a debt that escalated into a heated altercation.
At this juncture, the suspect reportedly struck the victim’s face with a cellphone and scratched his shoulder several times thereby inflicting injuries on the different parts of his body.
The victim was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation for him to answer for the crime he committed.
