BAGUIO CITY – We think that they are easily distracted, and worst of all, we believe that they have an eight-second attention span. But Generation Z students learn differently. They want to actively take part on the learning process, and are more practical when it comes to getting specific learning materials and experiences using a smartphone, a tablet, laptop or desktop and TV.
Having different learning and coping styles, Gen Z students understand the importance of preparing in advance for a better traditional classroom experience (which our schools at the moment offer). Advancement programs assist them in efficiently coping with the demands of the fast-paced traditional academic requirements and competencies vis a vis their digitally interactive lifestyle.
All our younger students today belong to the Generation Z. They are different from the Millennials (Ates & Kuyas), much more different from the Generation X (Moms & Dads), and far different from the Baby-boomers’ generation (Lolos & Lolas). Theirs is a fast-changing generation. They are growing along with the way the internet speed is increasing, and the constant gadget upgrades. Learning for them should be fun and engaging.
Summer Advancement Programs are brief learning modules designed for students who wish to familiarize with lessons they will be taking in the coming school year. Lessons are broken down into specific topics per session, and are crafted in a manner that Gen Z learners could easily embrace and enjoy.
Summer Advancement Programs for all subjects from Preschool to Grade 10 are available at Ahead Tutorial & Review – Baguio located at 4F Porta Vaga Mall, Session Road, Baguio City. The tutorial center opens Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 8pm with contact numbers 074-4236133, 09064490020 or 09175060347.
