LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Benguet Technical School (BTS), which operates under the Provincial Governor’s Office, celebrated the graduation of a total of 348 individuals who successfully completed different training programs.
The ceremony, held at the Benguet Sports Complex on Tuesday, March 26, was graced by government officials who conveyed their messages of congratulations underscoring the importance of skills development in empowering communities.
Governor Diclas lauded the graduates for their dedication and reaffirmed his support for the continued provision of quality education and training at BTS.
The graduates who have completed training programs in different fields include 27 individuals who completed Agricultural Crops Production NC I, 31 achieved Agri Crops NCII certification, while 57 graduated in Automotive Servicing NCII. Further, 51 individuals completed Bread and Pastry Production NCII, 23 in Dressmaking NCII, 32 in Tailoring NCII, 38 in Driving NCII, 47 in Hairdressing NCII, and 42 in Japanese Language and Culture.
According to Gemma Frezilla Simeon, the School Administrator, out of the 348 graduates, 169 were present to receive their certificates in person, noting that several graduates were currently employed as farm workers in Japan, while others were provided opportunities in different parts of the world.
Benguet’s Congress representative Eric Go Yap, serving as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, extended his congratulations to the graduates through his representative, Jirah Siddayao, who delivered words of encouragement and inspiration to the graduates. By SAP Jr.
