LAMUT, Ifugao November 17 – A 14-year old Grade 8 student died after he allegedly hanged himself on a branch of a mango tree in the backyard of the residence of his grandmother at Alupapan, Pugol, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Rocky Dulawan Domingo, 14, grade 8 student
Initial police investigation showed that the victim went home for lunch in the house of his grandmother where he was staying but his grandmother was surprised to see him hanging on the mango tree.
His grandmother then cut the nylon cord that was tied around his neck and was immediately rushed by responding emergency responders to the Panudpudan District hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.
The case is still subject to further investigation.
