LAGAWE, Ifugao October 05 – A 57-year old security guard was injured after he was stabbed on his back by a knife-wielding suspect while he was tending his farm at Poblacion South, here, Wednesday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Pablo Guihubon Kimayong, 57, married, Security Guard, and a resident of Poblacion West, Lagawe, Ifugao while the suspect was named as a certain Marvin.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was tending his farm when the suspect, who was allegedly under the influence of liquor and armed with a knife, suddenly approached him that resulted to a misunderstanding.
The victim requested the suspect to go home and for them to talk some other time to settle their disagreement but the latter allegedly hid along the way.
After the victim was able to transfer his carabao to a better location, the suspect suddenly showed up from where he hid and stabbed him on his back Julie Boy Bahado Bujocan alias Marvin, 33, single, native of Boronggan, Eastern Samar and a resident of Poblacion South, Lagawe, Ifugao.
The victim was rushed to a private clinic while the suspect voluntarily showed up to the police while the investigation was being done in the case.
