ALFONSO LISTA, Ifugao – A 37-year old housewife was hurt after she was punched thrice on the face by her 54-year old brother because of her failure to give him the senior citizens card of their mother at Little Tadian, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao Suday afternoon.
Senior Superintendent Constancio Chinayog, officer-in-charge of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Christina Tube Candoy, 37, housewife while he named the suspect as Celio Guidangen Liwan, 54, farmer and both residents of Little Tadian, lfonso Lista, Ifugao.
Initial police investigation showed that the suspect requested her younger sister to give him their mother’s senior citizens card for still unknown reasons but the victim refused to do so.
At this juncture, while the victim was about to board a jeepney bound for San Guillermo, Isabela, the suspect allegedly punched her thrice on the face and even pulled her down from the vehicle.
The victim was rushed to the Potia District Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect stands to face the appropriate charged to be filed against him for such abuses.
