LAGAWE, Ifugao – A 37-year old tricycle driver wanted for rape and a known drug personality was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents at sitio Canablong, Poblacion West here at around 6:50 am Monday.
Superintendent Cherry Fajardo, public information officer of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordillera, identified the arrested wanted individual as Siano Bibhong, 37, married, a tricycle driver and a resident of the aforesaid place.
Initially, Bibhong was arrested for a rape case with no bail recommended.
Further, he is listed as the No. 5 wanted person in the municipality of Maddela, Qurino and he is also listed as the No. 3 drug personality in Ifugao for the third quarter of this year and No. target list drug personality of the town of Lagawe for the same period.
The operating government forces included elements of the Lagawe Municipal Police Station, Asipulo Municipal Police Station, Hingyon Municipal Police Station, Ifugao Provincial Intelligence Branch, Ifugao Provincial Public Safety Company and Maddela Municipal Police station and the Quirino Provincial Police Station.
Fajardo said the accomplishments are part of the efforts of the police force in trying to build a highly competitive and efficient police through the PNP PATROL Plan 2030.
