Two planks of illegally sawn lumber were recovered by authorities in Mountain Province
Blotter reports revealed on July 31, 2018 at about 4:00 P.M, joint personnel of PMFC 3rd Platoon Mountain Province PPO and DENR conducted operation on Illegal logging that resulted to the discovery of an abandoned blue/gray Isuzu Elf bearing plate No. UBH 215 loaded with two (2) planks of illegally sawn DAO wood with estimated dimension of 4x40x10 and 5x40x10, a total of 299.99 board feet, assessed market value of Php 23,999.2.
The confiscated lumbers and vehicle was brought at the PMFC 3rd Platoon Base for safekeeping with the approval of the DENR.
