SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – The Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) has taken a significant step towards enhancing community safety and response times with the launch of the Ilocos Region Police Online, Law Enforcement, Investigation, Community Affairs, and Emergencies Electronic Buzz Emergency Response (iPolice e-Buzz-ER) mobile application on Oct. 14.
This innovative digital tool provides a direct line of communication between citizens and law enforcement, empowering residents to report incidents, access emergency services, and stay informed about local safety initiatives.
With this app, citizens can swiftly report crimes, suspicious activities, or emergencies directly to the nearest police station through the app.
The app also provides easy access to emergency numbers, ensuring prompt assistance in critical situations.
Residents can likewise share their opinions, suggestions, and concerns regarding police services, fostering a collaborative approach to public safety.
Further, the app offers valuable information on crime prevention, safety tips, and local emergency procedures.
The iPolice e-Buzz-ER app is designed to provide round-the-clock support, ensuring help is always available when needed.
Police Brigadier General Lou Evangelista, PRO1 regional director, emphasized the importance of this technological advancement in strengthening the Philippine National Police’s commitment to public service.
“Sa pamamagitan ng app na ito, inaasahan nating mapapabilis ang pagtugon sa mga emergency, mapapaayos ang komunikasyon sa ating mga stakeholders, at higit na mapagbubuti ang serbisyo sa publiko,” he mentioned.

He also encouraged the public to download and familiarize themselves with the application.

The app’s launch is part of PBGEN Evangelista’s 7-Point Agenda dubbed “S.E.C.U.R.E.D.,” specifically focusing on digital transformation for effective policing.
