TADIAN, Mountain Province – Governor Bonifacio Lacwasan Jr. led the successful blessing and inauguration of the improved Besao-Nacawang and Tadian-Mabalite farm-to-market road recently at Sitio Toyakpa, Batayan, Tadian, Mt. Province, which had an overall project cost of P 91, 857, 453.99 for the 4.154-kilometer road.
The blessing and ribbon-cutting was officiated by Fr. Winston G. Menong from Holy Innocence Church, Batayan, Tadian.
Lacwasan expressed his gratitude to the Department of Agriculture (DA) for extending its services to the people of Mountain Province.
“Thank you isnan DA office sinan projects nga inpaay yo para iti ili tayo nga Mountain Province. Dakkel daytoy nga pansaya-atan di tunggal umili ken sapay kuma ta anadan tayo daytoy nga projects para isnan sumaruno nga generation (Thanks you to the DA office for the projects you granted to the communities in Mountain Province. These are substantial assistance for all our communities and I hope that we take care of these projects for the next generations.),” he said.
Together with the provincial chief executive, the event was graced by Vice-Gov. Francis O. Tauli, Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Ezra Gomez, DA-CAR Regional Executive Director Cameron P. Odsey and head of offices of the provincial government.
Also present in the were personnel of the municipal government headed by Mayor Constito S. Masweng accompanied by the Sangguniang Bayan Members and Punong Barangay of barangays Masla, Lubon, Sumadel, Bantey, Batayan, Mabalite, and Duagan.
