Inspired by the launch of IYAMAN few days earlier, the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Benguet took time to recognize the efforts of the provincial in providing the needed assistance for the implementation of several programs, projects and activities of the schools division.
During the convergence meeting with the provincial government on December 18 at the Benguet Capitol, SDO Benguet awarded plaques of appreciation to the Benguet officialdom headed by Governor Melchor Diclas and to the provincial heads of offices for their important support to basic education.
Aside from the governor, those present to received their plaque included Vice Governor Johnny Waguis, Board Member Fernando Balaodan, Provincial Liga ng mga Barangay President Melchor Guesey, Acting Provincial Administrator Brian Camhit, Provincial Treasurer Imelda Macanes, Provincial Accountant Lucia Kisim and Provincial Budget Officer Tomasa Atayoc.
The convergence resulted to a renewed partnership between SDO Benguet and the provincial government towards the implementation of various programs, projects and activities that would lift the welfare of the Benguet learners.
OIC Schools Division Superintendent Benilda M. Daytaca and OIC Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Nestor L. Bolayo led the contingent of SDO Benguet in their first exclusive convergence with the provincial government.
