BAGUIO CITY – A 49-year old jail officer was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession alleged illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation in front of the Patria de Baguio Building, Upper Session Road, here, Monday night.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested drug suspect as JO3 Donald Tauli Kelly Jr., 49, a resident of Ucab Tram, Itogon, Benguet and presently assigned at Itogon Distric Jail.
Seized from his possession were two (2) objects wrapped with white cellophane suspected to be shabu weighing 7.51 grams with DDB value of P40,060.00; 1 Sling bag colored Blue Gray; 1 Black pistol holster; 1 Caliber 9mm Taurus pistol service firearm with serial number TE 091803; 1 9mm Taurus Magazine containing 11 ammunitions; 1 9mm Taurus Magazine containing 13 ammunitions; cash money amounting to P1,000.00; P9,000.00 boodle money and 1Nokia cellular phone.
Kelly was the subject of several surveillance operations for the past few days until finally arrested.
The arrested individual was brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation while awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
