John Hay Management Corporation aiming to be a forefront at Gender and Development braces for another event this coming March 23, 2018 at the Bell Amphitheatre, Camp John Hay.
Heading the Gender and Development Focal Point System is JHMC Vice President and COO, Jane Theresa G. Tabalingcos, who, herself is a women’s advocate in the corporate world.
The Gender and Development –Technical Working Group headed by Mr. Danny B. Latawan ensures that the event shall leave a significant influence highlighting women as active contributors and pillars of development.
Preparations for the said event are being made as well as confirmations of participants, the JHMC targets the communities surrounding the reservation, the academe, including the locators inside the special economic zone, as participants. The JHMC aims to address the various issues of women which unintentionally impede them to make a change.
In line with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) 2018 National Women’s Month Celebration, the JHMC efforts to empower women to confidently participate with stakeholders in order to ensure their contribution and benefit in development and change.
“We Make Change Work for Women” is this year’s theme. Wittingly, it paves the way where women have the same ground as their counterparts in showcasing their talents and dynamic capabilities in public administration and nation building.
The forum shall showcase the adaptability of empowered women influencing, inspiring everyone from all walks of life to do great things and make a significant change for the country needs it.
Moreover, it aims to recognize the significant roles and perceptions of men towards gender equality.
Meanwhile, President Allan R. Garcia (JHMC President and CEO) shall inspire the men in fulfilling their capabilities as partners towards change.
