DOLORES, Abra– A 40-year old jobless man died after he was repeatedly shot by still unidentified gun-wielding gunmen at sitio Balneg, Salucag, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Sony Aldaca Pilor, 40 years old, married, unemployed, and a resident of Lublubba, Dolores, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was allegedly in the place of incident when he was repeatedly shot by still unidentified gun-wielding suspects who immediately fled towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed to the Dolores Medical Community Hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.
Responding police operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered from the crime scene two spent shells of a calibre .9mm pistol which was used by the suspects in the perpetration of the crime.
