BAGUIO CITY – A 31-year old jobless man died after he was shot to death by two still unidentified armed men while he was repairing his motorcycle along city Camp Road, MRR Queen of Peace, here, Tuesday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the fatality as Alfie Espededo Asuncion, 31, married, unemployed and a resident of #45 MRR Queen of Peace, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was repairing his motorcycle in the area when two still unidentified armed approached him and shot him several times on the different parts of his body.
The victim was immediately rushed by his relatives to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he expired while being subjected to close medical supervision.
Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered three spent shells of a still undetermined type of firearm that was used by the suspects in the perpetration of the crime.
The case is now undergoing indepth investigation to ascertain the motive of the murder of the jobless man.
