TABUK CITY, Kalinga – K Servico through the Jesus V. Del Rosario Foundation, Inc. donated three units of new Bajaj RE 4s Fi Facelift Tri Wheeler Vehicle or known as ‘Ongbak’, to the city government during the regular flag-raising ceremony on May 15 at the City Gym.
The donation was made and presented by Sanny Boy Timbas, Vice President for Operations of K-Servico in North Luzon and accepted by City Mayor Darwin Estrañero through a deed of donation.
The donation is part of K Servico’s corporate social responsibility in the city that was channeled through the Jesus V. Del Rosario Foundation, Inc., of the Del Rosario Group of Companies.
Based on the deed of donation, the vehicles are purposely for Tabuk’s constituents and front liners who are in charge of immediate response to emergencies across the city.
“Binabalik po namin kung ano ang binibigay ninyo sa amin,” Timbas stressed in his message during the donation.
“Thank you so much in behalf of the city government. Agpa-salamat la unay iti taga Tabuk ta saan nga amin ket adda donation da,” Mayor Estrañero replied during the acceptance of the donation.
The three vehicles donated cost Php 620,244.00 or Php 206, 748.00 per unit and the donation was made through the initiative of the Rotary Club of Tabuk led by its President Marita Buslig Masirag.
Additionally, K-Servico has identified Bulanao Central School with 65 recipients under their school-based feeding program for school year 2023-2024 that will run for 120 days.
K-Servico is also planning to open another store in the city to create more job opportunities to the residents. By Ian Addatu
