Athletes of Kafagway MMA had been already in training since the Baguio and Benguet had been downgraded to modified general community quarantine.
This was confirmed by gym founder and Head Coach Bryan S. Olod.
Olod said he opened training three times a week, scheduled every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but limited to 10 athletes at a time.

He also said the gym is strictly implementing the ITF required health protocols like observing social distancing, sanitation and temperature checking of personnel and athletes upon entry to the gym premises.
During Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays when the gym is closed, Olod let his junior athletes join online kickboxing training with the national team and coaches.
Olod, also the current chairperson of ring sports of SKP and is the only Filipino licensed International Technical Official for Kickboxing Sports, recently represented the Philippines in the World Association of Kickboxing Organization (WAKO) International Federation Ring Sports Refereeing Seminar/ Webinar held last July 12, 2020.
He also teaches at Sablan National High School – Main.
