CONNER, Apayao – A 60-year old elected barangay kagawad died after his motorcycle was bumped by an alleged speeding bus at Karikitan, here, Wednesday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as George D. Dognayon, 60, an elected barangay Kagawad of Karikitan, Conner, Apayao while the bus driver suspect was named as Jeffrey Andres Dante.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was driving his motorcycle and was plying the road in the place of accident when his motorcycle was bumped by a Lizardo bus driven by the suspect.
The victim reportedly died on the spot while responding police authorities took the driver for questioning and impounded the bus for the conduct of further investigation on the said case.
