PINUKPUK, Kalinga – The province’s No. 8 top most wanted person facing carnapping charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his residence at barangay Asibanglan here Friday.
Senior Superintendent Victor Wanchakan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested wanted individual as Jeffrey Itay Agnas residence in a barangay Asibanglan, Pinukpuk, Kalinga.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marcelino K. Wakas of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk City for violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 6539 or the Anti-Carnapping Law with a recommended bail bond of P180,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted individual was subsequently brought to the Pinukpuk Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
