LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The town’s No. 2 top most wanted person facing five counts of estafa was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on separate alias warrants at Km. 6, here, Wednesday dawn.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Marilou Sangot Alyong, 50, single, self-employed, native of La Trinidad, Benguet and residing at No. 24-B, New Lucban, Baguio City.
She was arrested by virtue of five warrants of arrest issued by Judge Jennifer Humiding of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 in La Trinidad for five counts of estafa. The four counts of estafa have a total recommended bail of P466,000 while one estafa case had no bail recommended for her temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was subsequently brought to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to her turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the cases filed against her.
