LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The capital town’s No. 1 top most wanted person facing estafa and syndicated estafa charges was arrested by combined police operativ3es and intelligence agents based on separate warrants while inside a van in a checkpoint along Halsema highway, particularly at Km. 5, here, Tuesday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Christine Alyong Pa-ay, 33, unemployed, and a resident of Dapiting, Alapang, La Trinidad, Benguet.
She was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Danilo Camacho of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 62 in La Trinidad for estafa and another warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jennifer Humiding of RTC Branch 63 in La Trinidad for syndicated estafa both with no bail recommended for her temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was subsequently brought to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to her turnover to the issuing courts for the proper disposal of the cases filed against her.
