ITOGON, Benguet October 16 – A 28-year old laborer was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for attempted rape in his residence at Upper Sal-angan, Ampucao, here, Thursday.
Chief Inspector Eugene Raymundo, chief of the Itogon Municipal Police Station, identified the arrested individual as Benjie Ramirez Esco, 28, single, laborer and resident of Sitio Upper Sal-angan, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jennifer Humiding of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 in La Trinidad for attempted rape with a recommended bail of P240,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Itogon Municipal Police Station prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
