TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A 16-year old labourer was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for rape in his residence at Purok 6, Bulanao, here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual .as Collin Danao Mendoza, 16, single, laborer and resident of Purok 6, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nicanor Pascua, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk City, Kalinga for alleged rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Act with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Tabuk city Police Office for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
