CONNER, Apayao – A 22-year old labourer died after he crashed into a concrete pavement along the national highway at Malama, here, Tuesday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Renante Olanan Rivera, 22, married, laborer, and a resident of Lanna, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim, who was allegedly under the influence of liquor, was driving his motorcycle en route to Malama when he reportedly lost of control of the steering bar that caused his vehicle to crash on the concrete pavement thereby inflicting multiple injuries on his head and body.
The victim was rushed to a local clinic for medical treatment but he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians due to multiple head and body injuries.
The case is still undergoing investigation by the responding police operatives.
