TUBA, Benguet January 09 – A 62-year old labourer died after he allegedly succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest near the fence of his residence at sitio Tucang, Twin Peaks, here, Friday.
Chief Inspector Jim Hialrio, chief of the Tuba Municipal Police Station, identified the victim of alleged natural death as Ruben Wakat Parian, 62, separated, laborer, native of Tucang, Twin Peaks, Tuba, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed his companion was about to fetch him for them to go for work when he chanced upon the lifeless body of the victim lying near the fence of his residence.
Responding police operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team who responded to the scene found that he did not suffer from other external injuries that could have contributed to his death, thus, it was ruled that he suffered from sudden cardiac arrest.
His remains will be subjected to the appropriate wake and burial rites by his relatives and friends.
