BAGUIO CITY – A 24-year old construction worker was hurt after he was mauled and coked by an 18-year old vendor along Padre Zamora St. here recently.
Senior Superintendent George Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Cliffton Dizon Domallig, 24, single, construction worker, and resident of KM3, La Trinidad, Benguet, while he named the suspect Romnic Llorente Supnit, single, vendor, and resident at Parongao Building, Hunger Market, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim tried to pacify a commotion where the suspect was being mauled by two still unidentified individuals in the crime scene.
After the suspect was able to free himself from the commotion, he suddenly hit the victim with bottles of bear, mauled and allegedly choked him as he thought that he was one of those who earlier mauled him.
The victim was rushed by bystanders to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while responding police operatives were able to arrest the suspect who is now facing appropriate charges before the city prosecutor’s office.
