BAGUIO CITY – A labourer was injured after he was shot by a lone gunman outside a bar along Kayang St., here, Sunday night
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the shooting victim as Glenn Bumogas, of legal age, single, laborer and a resident of Sanitary Camp, Baguio City, while the suspect remains unidentified.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was asleep inside the bar when the suspect entered and inquired from the waitress if he can still be served liquor.
However, the waitress denied the request considering that the bar was already closing its operations, thus, the suspect went out.
At this juncture, the victim awoke and immediately went out of the establishment but after a few moments, a lone gunshot emanated from outside and the waitress saw the victim sprawled on the ground with blood oozing from his head.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned bystanders to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he was immediately brought to the operating room while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
