BAGUIO CITY – Jan Ross Kyle S. Laranang topped the men’s Class A division of the first-ever Baguio Family and Friends Lions Club (BFFLC) golf Cup held at the Baguio Country Club (BCC) golf course last March 16, 2025.
Laranang garnered a net score of 60 to emerge as the champion followed by Sonny Liwan and Chris Ismael, Jr. who placed third.
In the Men’s Class B, Atty. Richard Kilaan topped the said division followed by Carl Boholand Joshau Adrian Padua.
Carl Badinas bested the Men’s Class C followed by Ronald Sacyat and Joshua Pascual.
Maffy Bazar ruled the Senior’s division followed by Mar Bustos and Peter Go.
Kimberly Laranang topped the Ladies division followed by Marianne Bustos and Joy Ribaya.
Jan Ross Kyle Laranang got the award for Nearest to the Pin with approximately 92 inches at Hole No. 1 while Sonny Liwan came home with the award for the Longest Drive at Hole No. 3 with approximately 296 yards. Zoey Laranang had the Most Accurate Drive at 8 inches at Hole No. 8.
The BFFLC Golf for a Cause was aimed at raising funds to sustain the club’s various services activities beneficial to the members of the vulnerable and marginalized sectors within its area of coverage. By Dexter A. See
