The Department of Agriculture (DA), through the National Livestock Program (NLP) and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), joins forces with Informa Markets for the return of the Livestock Philippines—the biggest annual international trade fair for the livestock, poultry, aquaculture, feeds, and meat industries with the aim of promoting and contributing to the growth of the Philippine agri-fishery sector.
Happening from July 5 to 7, 2023 at the World Trade Center Manila, Pasay City, the Livestock Philippines serves as a comprehensive platform for local and international exhibitors to showcase their products, services, technologies, and innovations to thousands of key industry players, decision makers, business owners, traders, and buyers from all over the globe.
Among the hundreds of exhibitors this year is the DA group comprised of the NLP, the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), the National Dairy Authority (NDA), the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ITCPH), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF), the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS), and BFAR.
Also joining the DA Pavilion are the Development Bank of the Philippines and the Land Bank of the Philippines as the government’s partners in providing credit support to farmers, fisherfolk, and related organizations.
With the theme “Safety, Security, Sustainability,” this year’s expo is also set to convene experts from the DA and the industry to discuss the latest market trends, news, research, and other developments in the Philippine livestock, poultry, and aquaculture sub sectors during its technical seminars, conferences, and other knowledge-sharing activities.
This year’s installment of the Livestock Philippines has also been gaining traction with its series of pre-event livestock and poultry roadshows as well as the launching of the Livestock Recognition 2023, which honors companies, institutions, organizations, and cooperatives for their invaluable contribution to the development of the Philippine livestock, poultry, and feed industries.
