The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in Baguio City is now accepting applicants for the amnesty program of the government.
Established by the National Amnesty Commission (NAC) through Executive Order (EO) No. 125 series of 2021 and amended by EO No. 47 series of 2023, the LAB-Baguio is mandated to receive and process applications for amnesty under Proclamation Nos. 403 for the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa ng Pilipinas/Revolutionary Proletarian Army/Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPMP-RPA-ABB), 404 for former members/returnees of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF), 405 for the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and 406 for the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).
The Secretariat of the LAB-Baguio is all set to assist members of the said rebel groups who are willing to apply for amnesty.
