TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Land Transportation Office (LTO)- Tabuk Kalinga District Office fully implemented the new Land Transportation Management System (LTMS).
On December 9, 2021 the LTO-Kalinga renewed licenses with a 10-year validity to drivers who have no traffic violations within 5 years prior to their renewal pursuant to R.A 10930.
According to Jennilyn Angog, LTO-Kalinga District Office head, drivers who have recorded traffic violations will be issued 5 years validity license only.
In the case of drivers who will be renewing their licenses they need to secure a Comprehensive Driver’s Education (CDE) certificate in their LTMS account. The CDE can be availed of 60 days prior to the expiration of their Driver’s License.
According to Angog, this certificate is absolutely free.
To avail of the CDE certificate in the LTMS account, one has to go through the CDE in LTO Driver’s Education Center or the LTMS Portal.
Drivers must have an LTMS account in the LTO Portal otherwise they need to register by visiting this link portal.lto.gov.ph. Or they can check out the guides on how to register for the LTMS account posted on this page. By CPIO
