LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – A 48-year old man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for alleged child abuse at Lubas, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Hanzen Khayad Abad, 48, married and a resident of Pipingew, Lubas, , La Trinidad, Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marrietta S. Brawner-Cualing of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 9 in La Trinidad for three counts of violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with a recommended bail of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
