TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A 39-year old man was arrested after combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents found in his possession illegal drugs and assorted illegal drug paraphernalia during the implementation of a search warrant inside his residence at Casigayan here recently.
Senior Superintendent Victor Wanchakan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested drug courier as Jay Simafranca, 39, married, a resident of Casigayan, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Confiscated from his possession were one small heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, used foils, four empty small plastic sachets for repacking, and other drug paraphernalia.
The search warrant against the suspect was issued by Judge Victor A. Dalanao of the Municipal Trial Curt in Cities (MTCC) in Tabuk City, Kalinga.
The arrested individual and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Tabuk City Police Office for documentation prior to the filing of appropriate charges against him.
