LA PAZ, Abra May 01 – A 32-yearr old man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents after having found in his possession an unlicensed firearm with live ammunitions during the implementation of a search warrant in his residence at Toon, here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Froilan C. Marin, 32 years old, married, and a resident of Toon, La Paz, Abra.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops who were armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regionaaal Trial Court (RTC) Branch 58 in Bucay were one homemade shutgun and one live ammunition and another spare live ammunition with no proper documents.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the La Paz Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
