ALFONSO LISTA, Ifugao – A 22-year old man died after he was pinned by a heavy equipment while a 10-wheeler truck was navigating along the national road at Potia, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Constancio Chinayog, Jr., officer-in-charge of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Marlon Sales Pagaduan, 22 years old, married, and a resident of Dagupan, Alicia Isabela while the suspected truck driver was named as Gerry Rivera Dinamling, 49 years old, married, driver/operator, and a resident of Sta. Maria, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.
Initial police investigation showed that the 10-wheeler truck that was loaded with several units of heavy equipment was navigating along the national road when one of the units of heavy equipment allegedly pinned the victim.
He was immediately rushed to the Potia District Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians.
The case is still subject to further investigation and that the truck was temporarily impounded at the Alfonso Lista Municipal Police Station.
