A man died when an accident due to unusual events occurred in Apayao.
The incident transpired at around 5:30 PM of October 17, 2018 at Sitio Pisong, Swan, Pudtol, Apayao. The victim was identified as Mark Bryan Agpuldo Calasag, 27 years old, single, college graduate, unemployed, and a resident of Sitio Pisong, Swan, Pudtol, Apayao.
Investigation disclosed that the victim was at a hardwarelocated in the same place and was about to use a hammock. The victim tied the cord of his hammock at the post of the stock pile of galvanized iron. While the victim was lying, the post suddenly collapsed resulting to his being hit by the galvanize iron including the post.
The victim was brought to Amma Jadsac District Hospital located at Poblacion, Pudtol, Apayao but declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician.
Based on the initial findings of the attending physician, the victim suffered lacerated wound on his head, abrasions on his right foot, contusion hematoma on his right eye and traumatic brain Injury that cause of his untimely death.
