A man was killed when he was bumped by a bus along Brgy San Pablo, Balaoan, La Union.
Police authorities identified the pedestrian victim identified as Pepito Orteza y Lucina, 39, married and a resident of Brgy. Rissing, Bangar, La Union.
Investigation disclosed the victim was crossing the highway at 1:15 AM of July 16, 2018 when a southbound Farinas Bus driven by Jay Agpaoa y Corpuz, 31, married and a resident of Brgy. Columbia, Vintar, Ilocos Norte bumped him.
As a result, the victim sustained severe injuries and was brought to Balaoan District Hospital, Balaoan, La Union for medical treatment but declared dead on arrival by the attending Physician.
