BOKOD, Benguet – A 24-year old jobless man died after his motorcycle bumped an electric post that caused him to be thrown off his vehicle at Pugaan, Daclan, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Wilver Siano Osngao, 24, male, single, jobless, and resident of Cobabeng, Poblacion, Bokod, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was driving his motorcycle on his way home when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle that caused it to bump an electric post on the side of the national road that resulted to his being thrown off the motorcycle and eventually banged his body on the concrete pavement thereby inflicting multiple head and body injuries.
The victim was rushed to the Dennis Molintas Memorial Hospital for medical treatment but he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians due to multiple head and body injuries.
The remains of the victim was brought home by his family members to give him a descent wake and burial.
