TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A 33-year old man died after his motorcycle allegedly crashed in an irrigation canal at purok 7, Bulanao, here,Tuesday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Kenny Makasing Natarte, 33, single and resident of Sitio Pinukbalan, Purok 7, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed that concerned residents reported to the police the presence of a motorcycle that crashed on the side of the irrigational while the driver of the same was reported missing.
The victim’s parents reported to the police that they had been calling him on his mobile phone but the same cannot be reached that prompted them to conduct the necessary search and rescue operations until his lifeless body was recovered in a portion of the irrigation canal.
The body of the victim was brought to their residence for him to be given a descent wake and burial.
